We release tickets for our pub crawls 30-60 days in advance. If you are looking to crawl with us on a specific date and it is Sold Out, please email info@dccrawling.com or complete our online contact form. We will let you know when we plan on releasing those tickets.

The pub crawl meets in Lafayette Square at the Andrew Jackson Statue. The address of Lafayette Square is Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest and 16th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20001. The statue of Andrew Jackson is located in the middle of the park and surrounded by a fence. You’ll see Andrew Jackson riding a horse atop a pedestal. Your guide will be at the front of the statue with a D.C. Crawling sign.

The exact ending location varies, but all pub crawls end within 3 blocks of our meeting spot (Lafayette Square).

Our pub crawls operate rain, snow, or shine.

If you purchased Tour Protection, you can cancel or reschedule your pub crawl up to 24 hours prior to the start of the tour by emailing info@dccrawling.com.
For guests without Tour Protection, all sales are final and cannot be rescheduled or refunded. If you have already purchased your tickets and would like to add Tour Protection, please email us at info@dccrawling.com.

We offer 2 different ticket options:
Our Happy Hour package includes a draft beer or cider of your choice at each bar.
Our Dry Run Reservation includes the tour but no pre-paid drinks. This option is better for those who prefer to buy wine or liquor directly from the bars.

Usually, three out of four bars serve cider and/or seltzer, so those avoiding gluten should purchase the Dry Run ticket and buy drinks directly from the bar

Unfortunately, no. Due to time constraints, we cannot order food on the crawl. The last bar has a full menu and plenty of room for anyone to dine.

You will only be walking a few blocks total on the pub crawl.

Our pub crawl route varies, so we cannot say with certainty which bars we will go to on a tour. However, all of the bars are within two blocks of each other.

The closest metro stops are McPherson Square and Farragut North Station. You can take the Orange Line, Silver Line, and Blue Line to McPherson Square Station and it is a 4-minute walk to the Andrew Jackson Statue. Or you can take the Red Line to Farragut North Station and it is a 7-minute walk to the Andrew Jackson Statue.

We offer pub crawls twice daily at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Each pub crawl lasts approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.

On our Insider’s Pub Crawl you’ll visit four iconic D.C. bars with an expert local guide who will share the unknown stories of the nation’s capital. Enjoy craft beer with fellow crawlers from around the globe and learn the history they left out in 8th-grade social studies class.

The route of the pub crawls depends on a few different factors like day of the week and size of the crawl. Therefore, we won’t know the exact route until the crawl starts. All of the bars we visit are iconic D.C. bars located around The White House.

By law, all guests must be at least 21 years old and have proper ID even if the guest is not going to drink. Therefore, we cannot allow anyone under the age of 21 on the crawl, including children and infants.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes early in order to check into the crawl as the tour will leave on time. Please be sure that everyone in your group has their ID showing they are 21+ years old. Before arriving, please have everyone in your group complete the e-waiver that was sent to the email address you provided for your booking.

We advise that you purchase your ticket as soon as possible as we do sell out and walk-up sales are not allowed.

Unfortunately, we cannot sell you tickets to a sold-out crawl. We do have other tours available for sale.

We offer two different ticket options. Our Happy Hour package includes four beers on draft of your choice — one at each pub. The other option is our Dry Run which does not include any prepaid drinks. With either ticket option you can still purchase drinks directly from the bars themselves. Please note that our Happy Hour ticket only includes beer and not wine or liquor.
If you prefer wine or liquor, we suggest buying the Dry Run ticket and buying your drinks directly from the bars.

We have guests of all age ranges as long as they are 21+ years old. From young backpackers to retirees, our crawls are designed for everyone to enjoy.

We crawl rain or shine and sales are final unless you purchased our Tour Insurance when you bought your ticket. Tour Insurance is $5 per head and allows you to cancel or reschedule your tour up to 24 hours before the start of the tour. If you have not purchased Tour Insurance, then sales are final.
